Who Knew Crown Alone Wouldn't Keep You Alive On A Cold Day...

FLY Fisherman's Best New Winterized Gear. Add some of these pieces to your wardrobe and maybe you'll avoid frostbite this winter. Warning though, this gear will not totally replace the need for crown!

2K12, A Short Reflection

Another year has flown by, and as my dad would say "I'm a little older, and a little wiser". I'm not exactly sure about the wiser part, but I do know for a fact that I've aged. Looking back over the past twelve months I've come to the conclusion that 2K12 was a solid year for us. We were finally able to assemble our first week long out-of-towner', one that I hope becomes a tradition. And by a stroke of dumb luck (or spam e-mail) I was able to reconnect with an old friend, who turned out to be just as addicted to fooling fish on the FLY as the rest of the crew. Like every year gone by I definitely did not get to spend nearly as much time on the water, but I've accepted this as part of my life. It's the 8 to 5 that keeps this ship afloat...
It's also at this time that I start to look forward. The start of a new year for me is always about trying to take it to the next level, and while 2K12 was again a good year, it's always been about doing something big in this sport, not following the norm, but instead marching to our own beat. Some may say "well your about 10 years late to the party", but I say we are the party! Yea I've been called arrogant, but for that I will never apologize. It's the drive to learn and improve, combined with a little arrogance that will eventually set you apart from the rest. I feel big things in '13 for this bunch of misfits, so stay tuned!
