At approximately 9:13 pm on Saturday May, 29th, a Mayfly hatch of biblical proportions hit the upper Mississippi. Trout were unavailable for comment. Source Minnesota Public Radio

ALL THE SINGLE LADIES...

Of all of the main FLY crew and the rest of Part-timers ( You know the ones who "fish" but in reality only make it out less than five times a year ) that hang with us, KPV is the only single one of the crew. You might say some of us are a bit jealous of the fact that he has "options" and isn't bound by the daily grind of a(an) "amazing" realtionship. That being said I was recently informed by KPV that he has been courting a new lady, and behind my back none the less. Kyle if your out there... we are all living vicariously through you my friend! Do us proud!

Trout Camp. Part Two!

FLY rounded up some friends and family for a weekend outing. It was a nice break from the daily grind, made even better after returning home to find out that our little corner of the mountains stayed dry while the surrounding areas were navigating the streets with boats rather than cars.

We ate good, drank some quality beer, and even made time in between to fling some flies. The fish were tight lipped for whatever reason, giving us another reason to make it back up soon to seek revenge! Enjoy the pics... I know the weekend was enjoyed by all!

FLY has flogged the water several times since my last report. Nothing to write home about but hey ask KPV "How's the fishing?" And you'll most likely get " It's never bad..." I couldn't agree more...
