Anyway KPV and I, along with a newb got away yesterday evening for a few hours. We weren't expecting much as the heat and lack of rain has creeks and rivers around these parts running like trickles. We fished several hours, and only managed to spook a million and the one single fish I managed to spot without spooking watched every fly in the box go by while simultaneously giving me the finger. We ended up back at the truck; enjoyed a few Bud Diesels, and shot the shit before returning to the casa. It was much needed break as it seems like days on the stream are a rare thing these days. I have no fishy porn to share from this trip so I hope some scenery porn will get your week started off in the right direction.
